July 31st

Good morning WOW fans, it's Kerryn here with my final share of the July New Releases.

The July New Releases were such fun to work with and I had an absolute ball putting this page together, sharing a photo of our son and his cousins.

To keep the colours on the chipboard pieces bright and beautiful, all of the pieces used on the page were given a good coat of white gesso.

The title piece Hello today was covered with 2 different colours in Distress Inks layered and blended together, randomly stamped with dots and black ink and then a final coat with Dimensional Magic

The 6 Inch Mesh Border was given a similar treatment, with different colours and a different stamp. Just love the finish!

These were my favourite pieces, the 6x6 Messy Frames. Loved colouring them like a rainbow and they framed the photo perfectly.

July 30th

Hi everyone!

Tarrah here again with my last share for the month....this layout I have to admit was a bit of a struggle.....I rarely do vintage type pages but I really wanted to use that cool new release piece! I inked it with some copper ink and then added some metal cogs to add more detail...I have teamed it with some 7Gypsies products that I think fit it perfectly.....

Here you can see some detail of that cool gear piece with the metal embellishments added..

I have also used the new release chipboard light bulb also inked with copper ink...

If you have seen anything you like here on the WOW blog this month...just ask your LSS to order the pieces you would like in...they would be happy to oblige! Happy creating...

July 28th

San back with a few more pages using the July New Releases

here is a page of Tom receiving his 'cricketer of the year' award last year....Talk about excited, the presentation night was fabulous and his coach, Callum came to congratulate him

I have used the chipboard frame with arrows on it, just painted the arrows with white paint and then stamped on top, left the circles raw and used the title 'so awesome' with white paint and stamped on it too

This layout is from the last time Louise came visiting. She taught a few classes in Delights and then we went to Mojo together.

I have used the new AltaMatz leaves with texture paint, then used the small circle Altamatz on top with grey texture paint. Then I have used the large frame left raw. Added some colour to the spring with gold and green mists...and used the title 'happy days' in wood veneer.

this page is of Natalie and I at Delights retreat last year, when she popped in for a surprise visit. .... yeh

I have used a frame with butterflies on it, just adding a little embossing powder to the butterflies, and then layered the single frames below, and then used the "insta fun' wood title.

Thank you for dropping past

July 25th

Tess back again with another layout showcasing the July new releases. I have been wanting to scrap this photo since the day it was taken, but didn't feel that any of the ideas I had for it would give me the chance to tell the whole story. These cog pieces finally inspired me the sit down and get the story on paper, before years pass and I forget all of the minor details.
Gay Parita

Both cog pieces have been embossed in a liquid platinum to make them fit the theme.

I love how the fine details of the cogs have remained through the embossing to keep that extra detail in the piece. It just makes it that much more interesting.

Both of these pieces are available now at your local Words or Whatever stockist.

July 22th

Tess here again today to share another couple of layouts using these gorgeous new releases. I have been playing around with embossing powders and am loving the results I am coming up with.
Happy Days

And a couple of close ups...

The messy heart frame and mason jars have been embossed in a aged gold. I have added the 'happy days' title, flower stem and bloom embossed in a chunky white to contrast the gold.

And another layout using the same embossing techniques but different chipboard pieces.

Speed Racer

This piece is beautiful. Its very steampunk but with the aged gold embossing it looks fantastic.

And again the contrast of the gold and white again on the messy circles and 'you rock' title.

All of these products are available through your local WOW stockist now.

July 17th

Hello All......San here with a few more pages using the July New Releases.

This page is of some of the most wonderful friends a girl can have. My bff, Jodie, Lissette and Diana....they make life fun and sure know how to ground me, when necessary

I have used some of the new chipboard flower stems. Just added a couple of presses of the black stazon and then a little red ink on top of them.

This page is of Tom, Jak & Max in Adventureland at Disneyland this year. They were just waiting for me to buy something and hanging on the verandah. I love shot like these without the posing.

I have used black gesso with the Altamatz with small dots. Then used the frame with stars in raw chipboard...then added the 'you rock' wood title.

Thanks for dropping past
happy scrapping

July 12th

hello all
welcome to the July new releases...they are awesome

here is a few from me:

This is some photos of Tom trying a pickle at Disneyland...he said he loved them...ummm maybe not lol

I have used the new Altamatz circle with crystal gel and then clustered the maison jars and a bottle inside the frame with stars.
Other than tying some string on the top of the jars, I have left the chipboard raw.

This page is of Tanya and I on a visit to Sue before she started her treatment. We are all thinking positive for her and things are going so very well so far.

I have used the new Altamatz leaves with a gold mist. Then added a part stem using texture paste with embossing powder on top. Then added 3 of the wood veneer leaves that have been lightly stamped.

don't forget to get your lss to order you in some of the fabulous New Releases.

July 7th

Tess here today with my first layouts using the July new release goodies from WOW. There is so much inspiration in this months new releases and my mind started ticking over. This release is very gender neutral so works well with everything.

Hello Utah

I love the circle frames. They are perfect to highlight any aspect on a page and in this case, I have highlighted the photo. The frame has been coloured in white with a gel pen and the flower stems have been coloured with a red sharpie.

I have cut one of the flower stems into pieces and used it on the other side of the page along with a chipboard 'so awesome' title coloured in with a navy blue sharpie to match the rest of the layout.

Remember all of these great pieces are available now through your local WOW stockist. If there is anything you see that is a must have, don't forget to ask them to order it for you.

July 5th

Hi there, Kerryn here today with my first share of the July New Releases.
Just when you thought the products could not get any better, WOW manages to delight and surprise.

My layout today was a load of fun to create, I did some fussy cutting of photos just for a little therapy and added a few New Releases to inspire.

Happy Days

 photo _DSC0002_zps312f5669.jpg

I have used three of the chipboard Dandelions, they've been covered with a few different shades of green, the tips of the flower have been highlighted with Stickles to give them some dimension and then a coat of Dimensional Magic to finish them off.

 photo _DSC0007_zps554bd293.jpg

The new Dark Veneer title Happy Days was given a thick coat of Dimensional Magic but I kept the natural colour of the wood underneath.

Thanks for visiting today, stay tuned for more inspiration from the rest of the team.
