February 1st...New Releases

Hello everyone...

Welcome to February New Releases


This month at WOW, we concentrated on summer....sand, beach, sand and fun, something all Aussie families are very good at doing.

We have a heaps of new chipboard and wood veneers that will enhance those beautiful holiday photos you have ready to scrap. Here's a peak at some of what is now available.

I am going to start a month of our fab dt sharing their work with WOWs Feb New Releases

On this summer fun photo of Ali, I have used the small flourish AltaMatz with a texture paste and then added some gold micro beads. The title was covered in the same texture paste too.

The surfboard is a New Release in chipboard...here I covered it with 2 different washi tapes.

These awesome New Wood Veneer shells have a line of perfect pearls to highlight then.


Remember to get into your lss to grab some WOW to add to your layouts.

Welcome to the blog today for the final day of holiday inspiration.

This page was created using the December Savvy sketch and a few of my favourite WOW pieces

The chipboard title You was based coated with gesso first and then covered with Zazz Glitter Glue.



The Wood Veneer Brush Heart base coated with gesso and the thickly covered with red Stickles



Finally the Wood Veneer Chevron Stripes were lightly coated with the Zazz Glitter Glue.

Hello there, it's my turn again for a little fun holiday inspiration.

I've kept things very simple for most of this page and it's based on another Stuck Sketch.

I've left the divine Dark Wood Veneer title Trimming the tree and a Light Wood Veneer Arrow Icon in their original state, it worked nicely with the colours used for the layout.



I have used part of Small Star Cluster Banner and embossed it with my BigShot. It was covered with Bronze ink and then I used Metallic Run to highlight a the raised parts.

Hi Guys, Tess here with a quick share using the December Christmas releases.

 

This page was a very quick piece together using the stock standard photos that we take on Christmas morning in our house. It is always a lovely morning, sitting around being spoilt rotten!!

 

Christmas Memories

Using chipboard 'Christmas 2013' title (WOW2043), chipboard 'Memories' mini title (WOW1979) and chipboard Fancy Reindeer (WOW1350).

 

I have coloured both of the chipboard titles with sharpie markers then inked with a gold ink. The reindeer has been inked with the gold ink. This was enough to take away the grey chipboard colouring and tie it in with the layout colourings.

 

A very simple and easy layout to knock over those Christmas photos while the stories are still fresh in your mind.

Hi, Kerryn back again for some more of my holiday inspiration.

The page I am sharing with you today was created using a Stuck?! Sketch.

I had lots of fun experimenting with the background on this layout. I've used the 6x6 AltaMATZ Spiderweb  with some gesso, Kindy Glitz and black gel pen just under the chipboard ghost.

The Halloween Pack was the perfect variety of chipboard for this page. 
The small spiderweb from the pack and the larger chipboard Spiderweb have been coated with gesso and Kindy Glitz. The smaller web was broken into halves and placed onto different parts of the page. The spider, bat and tombstone were covered with black embossing powder. The ghost was coated with white embossing powder and then all pieces were doodled with pen.
