WOW with Tess

Tess here this week... It feels like forever since I shared any of my Words or Whatever goodness! I have been a bit busy in the background at the moment trying to finish off all of those unfinished projects. You know, the ones where they were a great idea at the time and the next great thing came along and you just didn't finish the first one.... Please don't tell me I am alone in having a cupboard full of these?
Any way, here are some of the more recent layouts for your inspiration. I have been playing around with some of the older pieces of chipboard in my stash and using the up. This will always justify being able to by more!!

One thing I really love about the WOW products is the title. They make pulling a page together really easy. This piece has been coloured with paint.

There are 3 pieces of chipboard on this page. All have been painted. I love the bubbles panel and how it adds another layer of dimension to this layout. The other two pieces are the tille, '#keepinitreal', and the 'today' piece.

This layout has used a bubble panel piece, which has been cut down into several pieces. This changes up the same old and makes the pieces go further. All pieces have been painted.

All of the August new releases are now live on the Words or Whatever website. Go and have a look as these will be coming to your local scrap stores very soon. Don't forget that we are now also on Instagram and Pinterest.

Mustard Explosion...Project Life style...

Hi there..
Its been a while between posts but we have been very busy on the family front and creating memories (plenty for me to PROJECT LIFE)...

This month i was asked to be a Guest Designer for the awesome kraft+ plus challenges representing Scrapbooking Delights...

The theme was Mustard Explosion...
So what better way to showcase our awesome WOW chipboard...

Of course ive used my embossing enamels as i love the effect this product gives..

I used the NEW TIM HOLTZ  limited edition paints and highlighted the pipes with enamel...

Dont forget how unique and great our customised WOWsets off your PROJECT LIFE pages...
Just like my Darcey and Nash pieces...i love to highlight the main people in my pages

So here is the full page finished...i love how this turned out as it was quite a challenge for me as i very rarely use Kraft in my PROJECT LIFE pages and to use mustard and yellow on this was quite challenging but i loved every minute of it...
Until next time
Happy Project Lifeing...

Monday Inspiration with Kerryn

Well hello WOW faithfuls, welcome to the blog on this chilly June morning.

I have a few projects to share with you today that I have put together over the past few weeks. Hopefully they will inspire you to sit down at your craft desk and enjoy some creative time.

Good Times
Getting my grunge on with this page using the chipboard 6x6 brick panel and cogs to bring my page to life. The brick panel has been slightly altered and backed with black cardstock to act as a background for the photos. The cogs coloured with a few different inks to co-ordinate with my page.

My second page features my big sister and her gorgeous grandchildren (my great-nieces)

Happy girls are the prettiest

Loving all of the WOW pieces used here. The mini words, hearts, doily, wood veneer dragonfly and beautiful hearts. Love the metallic gold ink finish and the Distress paint and glossy accents on the heart piece

My final page and definitely my favourite! I love looking back over photos of our remarkable boy. He is growing up so quickly and I am thankful for all of the photos I have snapped. This page captures just a few.

Pictures of you

The perfect title piece 'Picture of you' has been covered with Distress Paint and the mini words have been simply inked black. Love the different font in these words.

June DT Feature New Release Altamatz

Hi Everyone,

We have some exciting new Altamatz for you to create with. Below are some examples that our Design Team girls have come up with for your inspiration.

Tracey Henly

Fun word

Playing with a new technique learnt in a Lisa Pate class.

Then trying the technique on a layout the new mixed altamatz"s are fabulous for mixed media backgrounds. I have used the different elements in the yellow background circles.

zig zag arrow pointers

I also used the left over chipboard from around the messy circles pack.

I used the AltaMATZ and black pen to trace my pattern onto the background cardstock and then used watercolour paint to add some colour.

This time the AltaMATZ was used with Distress Inks to create my own patterned paper and then I used a circle punch to add pieces to my page.

Relax and Get Arty

Howdy Bloggers, Lisa Here .
with a WOW update.
Im sorta kinda a little obsessed with this stencil.

I have two layouts to share and both pieces showcase this cool stencil.
With the 1st, I have textured the page with modelling paste,
then used acrylic paint to add some brightness to the page.
Added a WOW relax chippy to add a little more dimension to the overall feel.
then worked in a little Scrapwitch flavor to the piece by
adding non traditional scrapbooking products , like plasterers tape, muslin and tissue paper .

I love finding shapes within the background, that lead to journal spots and trails .

Another layout, same textured background , different colour application.
Dylusions ink this time , with a fine water spritz to allow the colours to blend and flow over the page.
A little tissue paper to support the coloured inks and a couple of rad pieces of WOW product to add to the overall look and feel. How cool are the chippy industrial circuits .. love them .. And the wood veneer Selfie title to support my photo. Rad.

Thanks for dropping by , I hope you have a creative day .
