January 24th

Hello again, Kerryn back with a few more creations to hopefully inspire you.

This first page is my sample for the current mood board challenge at Scrap the Boys. The Wood Veneer Stars Pack have been simply coloured with black ink and the edges doodled with a bronze gel pen. The Wood Veneer 100% Boy from the Boy Birthday Pack was heavily inked with Distress Ink and then covered with a thick coat of Glossy Accent while the ink was still wet. Love the streaked finish.

Wood Veneer & from the Symbols Pack was coloured with 2 coats of orange ink and left to dry in between each coat to give a good solid colour. The piece was finished off with a thick layer of Glossy Accents to give that rounded look. I have also used the Numbers pack for the year at the bottom of the page.

My second page is the recent sketch at Stuck?! Sketches featuring my gorgeous great-niece.

I have covered the Wood Veneer Dot Pack  and the title 'Little One' from the Wood Veneer Baby Pack with Stickles, the rattle from the same Baby pack has been swiped with gold ink

January 20 th Tracey Henly

Hi Everyone,

I have a layout here for you with a twist for the back ground. I have sewn a 12 x 12 piece of hessian onto some plain card stock and used that for a different background.

I have used some of the new summer range here too.

January 18 th Tracey Henly

Hi Peeps back with another layout I did for a challenge last month, but this one I forgot to upload!! Don't you hate that. LOL

This is not one of my WOW laden creations, but I just wanted to highlight how great the mini veneer packs are for those little embellies you need in your clusters. These little butterflies which I left natural are from the Girl birthday Pack.

January 17 with Jo Kinder

Jo here today,
sharing one of my recent favourite layouts. I don't know if it is the fact my 'baby' is turning 9 this year (a little sentimental) or the gender-neutral colour combo - teal & orange... or maybe a combination of both. Anyhoo, this one is going to the 'pool room' ;)

This layout has veneer pieces from both the Baby pack and the Oval Star.

Thanks for stopping by :)

January 15th Tracey Henly

This is a very clean and simple layout from me today. I was doing a challenge that required a sketch and Black with two colours.
They have a monthly challenge just click on the link above and it will take you to their blog.

The Film strip I cut in half so I could extend it a little more behind the photo's it is heat embossed with three coordinating colours.
The wings I heat embossed with the green and used them as a base behind the flourishy journal spot which I embossed in the blue. Over the top of this I embossed in pale green the heart You.
The main title word Handsome I used two embossing colours and heat set.
The little Banners I first sprayed with water so I could pull them apart a little and distress them. I then dried then with my heat gun and sprayed them with dylusions colours.

January 14th

Good morning WOW followers, Kerryn here today with a page to share with you.

I am finally on holidays and looking forward to plenty of creative time over the next few weeks.

My layout is a Halloween page I did a few weeks ago, slowly getting around to scrapping this year's collection of scary photos.

I have used the 6x6 Cement Render AltaMATZ and layers of Distress Inks to create the background effect. Finished off with a few different stamps.

 photo _DSC0047_zps91c7d26d.jpg

The witches hat and flying witch from the Halloween Set were the perfect embellishments to add to the page, simply inked black with a little metallic pen doodling.

My favourite addition is the chipboard Weeping Tree. It has been inked and embossed to within an inch of its life in a variety of colours and textures and then cut in half to frame both sides of the photos on the page. Love the end result.
Note: no real trees were harmed in this experiment :)

Happy Halloween
A motley looking bunch aren't they? And how sweet does our boy look.....NOT!!
The best Soul Stealer I have ever seen.

January 10 with Jo Kinder

Big wave hello from Jo here,
Just a quick simple layout today, using up some papers from my stash and some more WOW veneer.
I have used the one of the numbers from the Christmas Numbers pack - who says you have to use them on Christmas layouts right?? ;)
