August 29th

Tess here today with another quick page. I am loving the background chipboard pieces at the moment and these circles are gorgeous.

Insta Fun

The chipboard circle piece has been sprayed with a gold mist while the 'Insta Fun' title has been left raw in the light wood veneer.

This page was a really simple quick one to pull together and the Words or Whatever products are what made it easy. All of these products are available through your local scrap supplier.

August 21st

Well hello there WOW followers.

It's Kerryn back today to share a page I created last weekend using the fabulous August New Releases.

The large Messy Square Frame that features to highlight my very cute great niece's face has been covered with black ink as a base and then randomly rubbed with my favourite Metallic Rubs in varies colours.

 photo _DSC0005_zps5beb8302.jpg

You can see in the photo above I have also used the Winged Heart Flourish on this page with just a little alteration. The flourish part has been removed and will feature on a future project.
The heart has been covered with red ink and the wings covered with black ink. Once the ink was dry, the old Metallic Rubs were used to add a bit of shimmer under the final layer of Glossy Accents.

August 19th

Hi WOW fans!

It's Tarrah back with you again today sharing another layout using some of the awesome August New Release products!

'Fun Can Happen Anywhere'

This particular layout is not normally my style of scrapbooking! Occasionally I don't mind getting a bit messy and random looking!! Behind my photos I have used the *New Release* Large Mixed Circles inked in orange ink and the piece down the bottom also inked with orange ink is the *New Release* Small Mixed Circles cut in half....

I got out my stamps, mists, washi tape and enamel dots and went crazy lol!!

Thank you for stopping by the WOW blog today! Be sure to check back again for more inspiration from the rest of our team!!

See you later...

August 17th

Welcome to the blog today, Kerryn here again with another August New Releases creation to share with you.

The page I am sharing today was my sample for the latest Stuck?! sketch released on August 15th.

Two gorgeous chipboard pieces are the main feature on the layout, the Fancy Bird and the Amy Flourish. Both pieces have been treated the same, a good coat of white gesso for the base and then inked with a soft pastel green. The flourish on both pieces have been highlighted with Stickles and then the bird outlined.

I have then added a Messy Hearts frame to single out my favourite photo of our beautiful great-niece. After giving the frame a quick layer of gesso, I have then used Stickles to colour the hearts and then randomly added to the parts of the frame.

August 8th

Welcome to the WOW blog today.

It's Kerryn here and I'm back to share another layout featuring the awesome August New Releases. Plus I have a page to show you with product from the July new releases.

First up is the chipboard Mini Background Panel,  which is also available in 6x6 & 12x12. I have used it as a matte for the journal card and have covered it simply with black ink.
You can never go wrong with white on black I say!

The second product is the light wood veneer Oval Star Frame, seriously how cool are these!!
I have left most of it raw, but added some simple colour to the star with a blue gel pen.
Frames the boy beautifully.

Showing off the fabulous 6 inch Mesh Border, I have just inked the outer parts of the chipboard with Pinecone Ink

Another of Tarrah's chipboard titles So awesome I have used as a sub-title, It was covered with white ink as a base, while the ink was still wet I have added touches of different Distress Inks and then applied the Gloosy Accents. Love the movement in the colours and the grungy finish.

August 5th

Hello! Kerryn here to share my first page showcasing the August New Releases and I am going to sneak in another from the July New Releases which I am still obsessed with. :)

The Messy frames were such a hit last month, we have added more to the Messy collection with some rectangular frames, which are just as fabulous.

I have given this one a light coat of white gesso for a base coat and then swiped it with Wild Honey Distress Ink. Then to add some highlights, I have randomly applied a little Stickles and then tied some twine around one side.

You can spot some of my July favourites on the page, Tarrah's title piece Insta fun covered with black ink and a wood veneer Hash Tag left natural

My second page you may have spotted as my sample page for this month's challenge at Scrap the boys. So many WOW July releases on there that I had to share.

Firstly we have the chipboard Light Bulb, which was covered with pinecone ink and then the bulb part was backed with patterened paper. I applied a combination of Fruit Bowl and Copper Stickles to the top section and then rubbed Metal Rubs to parts of the bottom section for highlights.
 photo _DSC0004_zps0fda772b.jpg

The Large Electronic Panel was slightly dismantled to feature around the photo. It was covered with gesso and Stickles for a textured look and then inked in a similar colour to the Stickles used to dull the sparkle. I love the finish on this piece.

 photo _DSC0005_zps53bc0475.jpg

Tucked under the bottom of the photo is the awesome 6 inch chipboard Mesh Border, which has been inked brown and then rubbed down with a variety of Metal Rub to co-ordinate with the colour palette of the page.
