February 22nd

Hey there, it's Kerryn here and I'm back with a few more February New Release projects to share with you today.

I have my second Christmas page that I spoke about earlier in the month and my recently revealed layout on another Stuck?! Sketch.

The day was Christmas 2013, when magic was big on his wish list.
A few snaps capturing the boy opening his pressies.

I've used the New Release chipboard Messy Heart Frame to draw the focus to photo. It's been covered with red ink as a base for the Stickles and metallic gel pen that I have randomly applied. I've used the same technique with the Messy Circle Frame at the top of the page, but this time I've coloured it using soft teal ink and diamond Stickles.

The 6x6 Loopy Hearts AltaMATZ and Distress Ink has been used to decorate the background.

Then to finish the page off I've added a few different Wood Veneer pieces left in their natural state. The Christmas lights under the title are from the Wood Veneer Christmas Pack, the year was created using the Wood Veneer Numbers Pack and the Dec 25th from the Wood Veneer Christmas Numbers Pack

My second page features the Corner Heart Flourish and the Delicate Doily. Both pieces were gesso-ed first and left to dry. The flourish has been covered with a few different watercolour paints in reds & pinks and the stamped with Staz on Ink in black.
The doily has been cut in half and coloured with a navy pen.

The new chipboard title Celebrate this moment was also covered with a water-colour wash and lightly stamped.

February 12th

Hello again, Kerryn back to share another February project with you.

This time I have used the new release Mini Chain Heart, base coated with Gesso and then painted it with Distress Paint. It has formed the base to my embellishment cluster at the bottom of the photo.

The new release Mini Flourishes have also been painted Distress Paint and then added to either side of the photo to symbolize his scooter trail.

You can also spot a Wood Veneer Male symbol left in it's raw state.

February 6th

Well hello WOW fanatics, Kerryn here with my first project created using the February New Releases.

This layout has a good mix of old and new WOW products, from a new 6x6 AltaMATZ to a few wood veneer Christmas pieces, they all come together perfectly.

The background effect has been created with Distress Ink and the new 6x6 Heart & Wire AltaMATZ. I have also outlined a few random hearts using a metallic gold pen.

 photo _DSC0027_zpsa1tcdfmo.jpg

The other new release piece is the chipboard Mary-Ann Flourish, covered with gold ink and then coated with diamond Stickles

 photo _DSC0026_zpsvsk2cwhs.jpg

The Wood Veneer Christmas Pack was put to good use. The word Merry Christmas has been softly covered with Distress Ink to balance the red on the page and the angel has been covered with more ink and Stickles. The HoHoHo from the Christmas Numbers Pack met with the same treatment. Love the Stickles finish in the sunlight.

I think you would have worked out by now that I am still scrapping Christmas photos. The season flew pass so quickly, I guess I missed the boat. So I have plenty to catch up on.
PS: Another Christmas page will make an appearance later in the month :).

Oh, What fun it is!

January 24th

Hello again, Kerryn back with a few more creations to hopefully inspire you.

This first page is my sample for the current mood board challenge at Scrap the Boys. The Wood Veneer Stars Pack have been simply coloured with black ink and the edges doodled with a bronze gel pen. The Wood Veneer 100% Boy from the Boy Birthday Pack was heavily inked with Distress Ink and then covered with a thick coat of Glossy Accent while the ink was still wet. Love the streaked finish.

 photo _DSC0005_zps0ad0f394.jpg

Wood Veneer & from the Symbols Pack was coloured with 2 coats of orange ink and left to dry in between each coat to give a good solid colour. The piece was finished off with a thick layer of Glossy Accents to give that rounded look. I have also used the Numbers pack for the year at the bottom of the page.

My second page is the recent sketch at Stuck?! Sketches featuring my gorgeous great-niece.

I have covered the Wood Veneer Dot Pack  and the title 'Little One' from the Wood Veneer Baby Pack with Stickles, the rattle from the same Baby pack has been swiped with gold ink

January 14th

Good morning WOW followers, Kerryn here today with a page to share with you.

I am finally on holidays and looking forward to plenty of creative time over the next few weeks.

My layout is a Halloween page I did a few weeks ago, slowly getting around to scrapping this year's collection of scary photos.

I have used the 6x6 Cement Render AltaMATZ and layers of Distress Inks to create the background effect. Finished off with a few different stamps.

 photo _DSC0047_zps91c7d26d.jpg

The witches hat and flying witch from the Halloween Set were the perfect embellishments to add to the page, simply inked black with a little metallic pen doodling.

 photo _DSC0033_zpse76ad13e.jpg  photo _DSC0032_zpsaf922322.jpg

My favourite addition is the chipboard Weeping Tree. It has been inked and embossed to within an inch of its life in a variety of colours and textures and then cut in half to frame both sides of the photos on the page. Love the end result.
Note: no real trees were harmed in this experiment :)

Happy Halloween
A motley looking bunch aren't they? And how sweet does our boy look.....NOT!!
The best Soul Stealer I have ever seen.

December 22nd

Hello again, Kerryn back to inspire you a little more before the holidays start.

On this page I have used the gorgeous New Release Wood Veneer Trees Pack to create the foliage for my flower cluster. They have been lightly covered with Distress Ink to add some soft colour. The small frame from the Wood Veneer Selfie Pack has become my journal spot brushed with a little ink and the year from the Numbers pack have been covered with gold ink. The flower centres are buttons from the Shapes Pack

 photo _DSC0042_zpse77233c9.jpg

The Tag formed the base for the month, it was kept kept natural with a little ribbon tied to it to finish it off.
 photo _DSC0037_zpsc4f63388.jpg

The Wood Veneer Butterflies are from the Girl Birthday Pack, they have been coloured with water colour paints, the very cute tiny flowers are in the Symbols Pack ans have been covered with paint as well. The chipboard Flourish  has been covered with ink and used to anchor the butterflies and flowers

 photo _DSC0040_zpsd5ea2256.jpg

The title has been created using letters from the Girly Lowercase Alphabet. Covered with brown ink, stamped with a Kaisercraft dot stamp and gold ink and then coated with Glossy Accent. The Wood Veneer Boy has come from the Boy Birthday Pack

December 20th

Good morning, Kerryn here to share a few pages with you today.

This month I've managed to show off plenty of WOW pieces on both of my Stuck?! Sketches DT samples.

The first page features a New Release 6x6 Interconnecting Squares AltaMATZ. Absolutely loving the new product used for our AltaMATZ. It's perfect for background effect using Distress Inks. You will also see a few of the new Wood Veneers pieces in their raw state.
The Symbols Pack and Numbers Pack are definitely a favourite!
