WOW Chipboard And Enamel Chips!

Hi, I don't really make alot of cards, but sometimes I'm in the mood to make a little something for the special people in my life.
I made some cards for my Mum and Mother In Law both Birthdays are coming up soon.
                       C750 Ornate Oval Frame
Love these Beautiful Oval Frames, they are so pretty and girly I just had to use them to create the cards.
I had some new Enamel Chips that I wanted to try out and after playing with them and WOW Chipboard I want to get more.

Step By Steps:
  1. Rub your WOW Chipboard with an Embossing Pad, giving it an even coat.
  2. Sprinkle the Enamel Chips over the Chipboard, shake off excess.
  3. Heat set with the heat gun.
  4. Repeat to build up the Enamel.
I used 2 coats but you could give your WOW Chipboard as many coats as you like, when the Enamel Chips heats up each coat melts together.

Thanks Gilly oxo

Proud to be your Mum........

Hello Scrappers,

It's Kellie here today to share one of my lastest creations with you.

It's not very often I get to do more feminine pages, so when I do, I relish in it! On this page I have used a piece called "Japanese Butterfly Rushes (RWL93500)... Here is a close-up...

I simply painted my piece and used a pin to get into the finer points.....makes life a whole lot easier !!

For my title I used the "Classic Alphabet Uppercase (C1384)" which I again painted. Here is the finished page...

Proud to be Your Mum

That's it for me today. Don't forget we have our sketch challenge this month........why not get your entry in???

Thanks for looking

Inspiration from the Inspiration Team

This week the girls have been at it again, creating and having fun with the gorgeous WOW products.

This week Monique is totally rocking the whole VINTAGE THEME..check out these layouts and what she has said about them!

"A Beautiful Love" - I have used Belle flourish C1223 and Whirly Flourish C889. With both flourishes, I first inked them up with Distress Ink – Tea Dye, then used a script stamp to stamp a script image on to them with light blue chalk ink. It is always good to used a solid ink, like chalk ink, when stamping a light colour onto a darker colour .
I then added some Kaisercraft pearls for to add a little vintage touch.

A-Beautiful-Lovea beaut

"Sunday Best"
The gorgeous lamp post on the right is the WOW – Words or Whatever Triple Ornate Lamp Post C1178, which I painted with Distress Crackle, in Scattered Straw.

Here is Lisa’s layout this week…cute and cheeky

Products used: RW frame 1 RWL9277; Complete perfection chip title RWL297

I have customised the chip title to suit my layout by removing the "perfection" piece from the chip title.

Paper Backing your chipboard

Hi there, Wendy here sharing a layout and some WOW products with you.

WOW make awesome titles and I have used the ‘Friends in circle C310’ title piece for this layout. These circle titles are terrific and I have decided to back the chipboard with patterned paper in a contrasting colour to accentuate the title.

sharing my buzz

Hey all

San here......for this post I am being totally self gratifying and sharing my excitment for 2012. Every year for the last four, I have entered the Sydney Royal Easter Show. I have been honored with two seconds and a highly commended....but this year, i cracked the big one...I WON!!!

The excitement was high in our house for a few weeks and still now I have a silly smile on my face about it. Anywhooooo...sharing the winning layout with you this post.

It was a double (eek), only criteria was photos, journal, title, and either stamping or sewing.

Its a layout about my Great uncle, who turned 90 last year. We are very lucky to still have him in our lives and love spending time with him.

I used a couple of WOW ebony flourishes on the pages. the black is so solid, it enhances without taking over the page, and works so well with the hertiage look I was going for.

close up of the pages:

and just cause I can! (hehehe)...heres my First place ribbon that is hanging in place of honor for the next year.

Have a look at your local shows, they will all have scrapbooking categories and I am sure they would love entries from locals. Go for it!...its a buzz to win a ribbon
And.....dont forget to add some WOW to your entries!

And speaking of winning...have you checked out the May Sketch Challenge at WOW.
Grab a copy of the sketch and have a go.

Happy Scrapping, San x
