Susan has taken a must more gentle and softer approach, and created this whimsical Christmas layout, with loads of white and whisps of colours on the background cardstock. She has created so much detail on those chipboard baubles…it looks magnificent!

my little star!

Hi guys its Em here again.  Just wanting to share with you a layout I created using altaMATZ and of course some awesome WOW chippy.

With this layout titled ‘My reading STAR"’ I have used a circle frame (C828) and wrapped it in torn up pieces of fabric, You cant even really tell it was chipboard in the first place!

I have also used a chippy birdhouse (C1392) and a bird from the small bird pack (C999), Ive left these raw and just inked around the edges as I didnt want to take away to much from the fabric circle and the photos.

Ive also used my trusty 12 x 12 random star altaMATZ (which I love) Usually I just give a light spray with the mist with this one, but I decided to do something different for me.  I have used a finger dauber and a black ink and just used plain old ink on these stars, I love the way they pop right out of the page.

Glitter Glass Rules!

Hi, Who doesn't love a bit of Bling?
And there is nothing better than adding sparkle to your page or project.
You can achieved this with Glitter Glue, Embossing Powder or what I love to use Glitter Glass.

Step by steps when using Glitter Glass:

  1. Ink your WOW Chipboard piece in the same colour as the Glitter Glass,
  2. Apply a coat of Dimensional Magic to your chipboard piece, you can do this in parts if it's a large piece.
  3. Put your Chipboard pieces into an embossing tray or on a piece of paper.
  4. Sprinkle the Glitter Glass on top of the Chipboard piece.
  5. Shake off the excess Glitter Glass.
  6. If you have missed parts of the Chipboard, touch up with Dimensional Magic and more Glitter Glass.
  7. Leave to Dry approx 1.5 hours.
Note: As Glitter Glass is little pieces of Glass
DON'T DO THE FOLLOWING!

  • Don't put Glitter Glass in your eyes, this has been done at 3.00am at an all night crop, if this happens DON'T run around like a crazy woman, just go and wash your eye or eyes out with water.
  • Don't eat Glitter Glass, I know it look so pretty and some people want to lick it, but please keep your tongue to yourself.
  • If you drop Glitter Glass on to the floor, PLEASE STOP what you are doing and vacuum in up, even late at night, because it really really hurts when you get it in your foot or even worst when your Hubby gets Glitter Glass in his foot, as you won't hear the end of it for years, and you will keep on hearing now EVIL scrapping is!
  • Don't use with alcohol, contrary to belief we do get silly when drinking and scrapping. This can lead to any one or ALL 3 of the above.
So Have fun with Glitter Glass and remember please follow the Glitter Glass Rules.
Thanks Gilly oxo

WOW May12

Here is Kaitlynn’s version of the sketch. This is what she has to say about how she created the layout using WOW

“I have used one of the circle cut outs from the RW lazer cut WOW range (RWL 191) . I have also used a WOW alphabet for my title (Girly alphabet lowercase C1387), I coloured these in with red sharpie and then coated twice with 3D paper tole. I then stuck these to a WOW oval chipboard I coloured it lightly with black ink on a finger dauber to get the circle effect.”

Lisa has created this cute layout, look at that face..crack up! Lisa has used :

  • 12x12 cog frame set C819
  • mini dragonfly set C1053
  • classic alphabet lowercase C1385

This is what she has done with the chipboard pieces: “I have coated all chipboard pieces in coloured markers that coordinated with the patterned papers used, and finished them off with glaze. I have also added liquid pearls around the cog frame.”

Monique has created this pretty layout. This is what she wrote about the layout…

“I've used Curly Wave Border C1437 and Block Alphabet Capitals C1388. I sprayed both with Chalk Glimmermist - Mint Chip, then added some Paint Dauber in Pearl for Highlights. Once dry, I applied bling by adding some Distress stickles.”
