Using Pennant Banners on Cards

 

 Hi, Gini back again today to share an easel card that I made.  I loved adding the banner to help hold my card open.

I first inked the chipboard, and then stamped a background stamp using watermark ink - and heat embossed it using gold powder.  The results really give such fun details.

Building Memories One Day at a Time

It's Gini, here to share with you one of my favorite layouts ever!  I love building up layers - and adding Words or Whatever chipboard, really adds so much visual interest.

 

 My title was inked with a yellow chalk, and then randomly shaded with a shade of red to produce kind of an ombre effect.

 

 The chicken wire chipboard is one that I use all of the time.  I backed it with a different patterned paper and popped it up from my layout.

Words or Whatever Week with Gini

Hi, it's Gini and this week, I will be sharing some creations here at the Words or Whatever Blog.  Up first is this mixed media card.

I used one of the WOW AltaMATZ templates (Doily).  I traced around the entire design using a Aquarelle pencil, and then inked around the outside.  I misted this with water, so that the pencil would disperse.

I took the chipboard gate - painted it with Gesso, then inked it with a dark brown pigment ink, and added some glitter.  The Imagine title was inked to color it, and then I rubbed a little bit of Metallic 3D paint over it.
