Hi, it’s Wendy here again.
Do you ever get tired of single colour inking? Want to try something a little different to give your chipboard an altered look?
I like to do ‘TWO TONING’ on my chipboard pieces. This is where you colour one half of your chip piece in one colour and the other half in another colour.
Here is a close-up of what I mean…Here I have used RED/YELLOW on the ‘school days’ piece out of the ‘School Pack C1166’, and BLACK/RED on the ‘Alphabet border RWL286’ piece.
I have also used the ‘First Day Of School RWL44’ title piece altered with texta pens and the ‘Little Kids Boarder C1452’, which have been coloured with Glimmermist in Cherry Apple.
So there you have it… no excuse to leave your chipboard boring and plain. There are so many fantastic ways to alter it, just experiment and have fun with your inks, pens, paints and mists.
Happy Scrapping
Cheers Wendy x x x
