I started my layout on a piece of Kraft card stock, I painted from the centre brushing upwards and downwards, randomly not total coverage, with clear gesso.

 I did this to get better drippage, (spell check doesn't think this is a word PFTTT), with the spray.

Pool your colour of choice across the middle of your layout and then rock it up an down to get the spray to run.

Set aside to dry or use a heat gun if you are inpatient.

Take your chipboard piece, in this case wings, and apply a coat of Tim Holtz crackle paint.

Let it dry naturally.

On your dry background put some pencil marks where your photo and frame are going to sit.

This gives you a guide as to where your next lot of background layers are going to go.

Next I took a template, some clear embossing ink in a dauber, and three embossing powder colours.

Using one colour at a time, I inked some circles through the template then added a colour, shook off the excess, then heat set it.

You can put as many circles as you like.

I used Aged gold embossing powder on the chipboard flourishes above and below the frame.

Back to the wings, I learnt this technique from a You tube tutorial. The lovely scrap booker sharing it I cannot remember her name, sorry. She came across it by mistake but loved the effect and shared it. It makes the cracks really big in the paint.

So what you do it cover your dried crackle paint with dimensional magic or glossy accents and let dry again. 

Once it is dry you apply another coat of your crackle paint and sit back and watch the magic.

When these are dry attach them to your layout and add your finishing touches, some seed beads to the frame and chipboard butterfly using glossy accents.

Sequins to the back ground again I use glossy accents.

I used the background spray on the title letters.

And of cause some flowers.
