Using different mediums on your chipboard - with Elisa

Hi fellow WOW fans,

Elisa from the design team here with my latest layout created using a lot of lovely WOW products, washi tape, ink and paint to name a few. I wanted to show you just how versatile WOW Chipboard can be using many different techniques and mediums.

So the first WOW product used was 6 x 6 Geometric Oblongs Alta 189 with modelling paste to form a textured background. I then coloured using watercolour paints and then highlighted the oblongs with lime green ink and used a fan brush to add controlled paint splashes in black. Next I added my washi tape extravaganza in a cross design and over the middle of that cross I added black and white polka dot tissue paper in a torn grungy technique (half stuck down and torn). I also used a gorgeous shimmery but clear punchinilla. Now that takes care of the background!!

The next WOW Products used are 6x6 Background Panel 1 - WOW2178 which I cut into four squares, I painted them black - dry - then gesso'd over them in white - dry - then using a sponge dauber I inked them using lime green and grass green versamark inkpads.

For the square frame 6x6 square frame pack - WOW2114 - I painted it in a glossy black and added black micro beads using gel medium creating a glossy beaded texture.

Next is the title - Picture Perfect - I inked the title in black then white paint over the top to give it a two tone effect.

Lastly the arrow - Narrow Arrow Pack - WV 018 - painted black and then when dry I used a sponge with glossy black glitter.

Some other mediums you can use to cover your chipboard or dazzle it up are - old music sheets stuck down and sanded back, washi tape, embossing powder, Ultra Thick Embossing Powder with Micro Beads, Glitter and Metallic Paints like Pebeo Fantasy to name a few.

Some close up shots of the techniques used.
