Today I am going to share some WOW magic, I created a mini album with different pieces of WOW, it is fun to go off-the-page and see other possibilities to one piece of chipboard and here I decided to use chipboard pieces as pages for my album. It is a great way to use scraps too!
The album is made of round pieces of chipboard it includes circle frames pieces, journalling frame and its negative (that piece is rectangular). The album measures 4".
For this project you need to usedoublesided papers.
I also used a pair of cropadile to punch holes on the side of each page to bind the album together with some rope.
To create the "star" shape I placed my circle frame over my paper and drew the star shape with pencil, I removed the frame cut the star out (erased my pencil drawing) and then glued the circle frame on my preferred side, this is why I used double sided papers.
Here I glued double sided paper on the back of the negative journalling block to have a nicely shaped background & backpage.
When I design an album I like to think of textures, in this mini album by using different layers, shapes and sizes as well as chipboard & stitching I have achieved my goal.
You will also notice that I kept my kept my chipboard pieces raw, I just inked the edges with distress ink (Walnut Stain) and that is because I liked the effect it created and it did go well with my colour scheme.
Well I hope I inspired you to create with WOW and to go off the page, have a lovely day!
Sandrine.
That is just beautiful, Sandrine! The photos with your grandma are always going to be very special and the album is perfect for it.
