Bright Colours? No Worries!

Hi all, Monique here and I am hosting the blog for this week.
There are so many ranges around at the moment that are bright with busy patterns.  I love using them, but sometimes I worry that they will take away from the photo I am trying to scrap, and after all, that is what we are actually scrapping isn't it?

You can use your WOW - Words or Whatever Chipboard effectively to focus attention on the photo.  I have used WOW 12x12 Circle Frame with Arrow Set 1624

 

Also I've used the WOW Words or Whatever Corner Arrow Set 1626

This is what I did:

Now, to keep the focus on my photo I used the Arrow Circle Frame to frame the photo, and also used the Corner Arrows as chevron  - painted in black, they tone down the brights and work to draw the eye to the photo.  I painted the Arrow Circle Frame in orange to blend with my papers, then used a black pen to outline it.
