I have been working with Suzanne to extend the feather pattern and create a few more internal designs.
I am Stoked I got to play with them this week on my off days and I am absolutely loving the effect.
I have just masked the feather stencil (part A) with a rainbow coloured acrylic paints, and then masked with some cool Liquidtex Black Lava Textured paste (part B), over the top.
A little background stamping and stenciling using the WOW Arty You Stencil, Gelatos, some washi, the essential black hand drawn pen boarder and my background was ready.
I sourced a $2 pack of feathers from the el cheapo shop and added them to support the colour and overall theme. Tissue paper for extra texture and to add the pink that is prominate in the photo. Black matted photos, cotton thread, a few flowers, a word or 2 and sequins.
I would love to see what you create using the Feather Stencil.
