Thursday Tute with Tracey Henly

We are working with Prima butterfly papers on this layout.

3 x white paper flowers
heidi swapp raspberry colour spray
large and small retro flower punch
stampendous aged rose embossing powder
clear embossing ink
distress ink tim holtz aged mahagony
stickles fruit punch.

Spray your large square frame with the raspberry spray and set aside to dry.

Heat emboss the butterfly heart and border with the aged rose embossing powder.

Heat emboss your title of choice in aged gold embossing powder.

I have fussy cut out some of the graphics from this paper range to use as accents. eg. the fairy and the butterflies.

cut your mats for the photo one 7x6, one 7 x5, one 5 x 8. pick the colours that suit your photo as they are double sided.

layer your pieces and mat your photo, raise your photo with foam tape or chipboard scraps.

with your scrap papers punch 1 large retro flower  and 4 small. Assemble flowers using bling brads for the centres.

assemble all your accents to your liking. I added stickles to the flowers to give a liitle more sparkle.

Have fun creating.

Here are couple of recent layouts I have done as classes at Pages2scrap.

Tarrah's Week...Love You to the Moon and Back...

Hi again!!

Tarrah here again to share another layout I have created using some WOW chipboard.
I adore this photo of my boys so you might see it pop up on a few layouts!! It captures them perfectly together!!

WOW products used:

Mini Scallop Circle Frames
'Love You to the Moon and Back' Title

Once again I kept some of the chipboard in its raw state and I have also inked a few pieces in black ink.

Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out what I have been creating with my favourite WOW pieces!!
You will be seeing more from me real soon, meanwhile stay tuned for more awesome projects from the design team, take care and happy scrappin....

Gold, Opals & WOW!

With my wedding layout I thought I'd glam it up a bit, using lots of gold, bling, and Opals.
I covered the WOW 12x12 Circle Frame Set with Opals (UTEE) in two colours to create a soft mottled colour.

I heated and added the embossing powder three times to build up the thickness. ( I left it thinner in some areas to create the textured effect.)   I inked an embossing folder with Versamark and used it to press patterns into the UTEE before it cooled.  (You can also do this with a stamp)

I heat embossed my WOW "And they lived happily ever after" title with two different gold embossing powders.  I did this by inking only the "happily", and heat embossing it, then inking and embossing the remainder of the title with the other embossing powder.

I hope I've inspired you to try a few different embossing techniques on your WOW chippy.

Happy Scrapping,
Tina
