October 3rd

Good morning to you all.

Kerryn here with one of my first pages featuring the yummy October New Releases.
It is also my take on the newly released Stuck?! Sketch.

How cool are the chipboard string of hearts! I have covered them with brown ink, rubbed a little red Metallic Rb over the hearts and them doodled with a red metallic pen around the inside heart.

The Dark Wood Veneer #1 has been left in it's natural state, thought it worked perfectly with the colour palette I've used.

September 30th

Well here we are at the end of another month for 2014!
Hello and welcome to the final post for September on the WOW blog.

Kerryn here to share one more page before the October New releases are unveiled.

More snaps from the snow to share, of course.
I love using Wood Veneer products simply because there are so many different finishes you can apply to them.

The Wood Veneer Smile has been covered with Stickles for a little sparkle and the Wood Veneer Mini Polaroid Frame has been swiped with Distress Ink for a hint of colour, still allowing the wood to shine through.

September 28th

Good morning WOW fans, Kerryn back to share a few more projects with you.

At the end of August, we did a quick family trip over to Victoria to give our boy his first taste of snow. Needless to say, he loved it and I got some great snaps as well.

My first page features some fabulous Wood Veneer pieces the  Ampersand and the title piece So Awesome were left naked to compliment the colour palette.

The Messy Star chipboard frame has been simply covered with gold ink and used to frame his golden smile.

The second page is a beautiful snap of my Mum with Harrison and how's the amazing back drop of Lake Mountain.

I have used the 6x6 Background chipboard panel as a feature behind the photo. It was covered with gold ink first and then randomly coated with gold embossing powder.

September 26th

Tess here today with my share for the Stuck Sketches anniversary challenge which Words or Whatever are a sponsoring. I loved the sketch we had to work with. It was really easy to incorporate plenty of washi tape (and don't we all have so much of that).

This is the sketch

Watching in Wonder
Using chipboard Winged Heart Flourish and light wood veneer Arrow

Both Words or Whatever items have been embossed in aged gold. How beautiful and intricate is the winged heart flourish?! I could use this one over and over again!

You have until the 29th to get your entries in over on the Stuck Sketches site. You may be lucky enough to pick up the generous Words or Whatever prize pack.

September 24th

Hi WOW fans!

Tarrah here with you again today sharing another layout using some of the WOW new release chipboard!

'Make A Wish'

As soon as I saw these gorgeous chippie blooms from the Bloom Pack I knew I wanted to use this photo as the blooms remind me so much of dandelions!
I got to work doing some embossing using a Versamark Watermark inkpad, some Tinby Designs Metallic Melts in Glistening Snow and my heatgun....

I deliberately left some of the melts unmelted so that it had some texture just like dandelions have that brushed look...

Thank you so much for stopping by the WOW blog again today....I hope I have inspired you to order some WOW chippie from your LSS!

See you soon...
